View Full Version : How we go forward with a new media

It is clear to all of us by now that our media is controlled and not in our favor whatsoever.

Most of us get our news and information from the Internet. This is not so with most Americans and it is reflected in the polls.

Many of us are tech savvy and can hook our computers up to the TV, or we buy a TV with some sort of Internet connection.

I propose a 2 pronged solution.

1. Set up the Raspberry Pi to provide a single channel TV station that you can connect to the Internet and to the TV.

The Raspberry Pi is a small $25 computer (http://www.raspberrypi.org/). We distribute this to as many people as we can, maybe even get it on TV sets in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, etc. hitting the super voters. The goal not being to make huge profits but to get it into as many households as possible so that they can switch over to the "liberty channel" as a free alternative to the corporate networks.

2. The liberty channel.

Since there is no current channel with 24 hours of liberty programming we will need to create content. We could have a community driven site where people put videos together and upload them vote for the videos. We could use http://www.moviemasher.com/ to allow users to easily make videos as well as people uploading their own. The top videos are streamed to the channel.

It could even be decentralized with no central site that can be shut down since the raspberry is a mini computer which can be used as a node in a wide network of streaming sites.
