Was anyone there as a witness 4 years ago that can give a little insight?

Because if we got, say 25% in delegate counts overall 4 years ago, there is a VERY good chance that we will end up overwhelming the Republican Establishment and put things on the platform consistent with the principles of Liberty. Even if delegates are bound to vote for their guy in the first vote, that won't stop them from voting a certain way on other items that they vote on.

39 but we really won Nevada and some say Louisiana but the party literally turned out the lights at state convention in NV and fled because they didn't even have the votes to recess it, and appointed by conference call the delegates, by themselves. They literally threw out the entire primary process.

Regardless, when the dust settled Ron had about 39 'formal' ones and there were a bunch of people who wanted to be his if they got half the chance.

We got about 1%.

yes, i know, 1% of people voting for Ron Paul. But how many of those were say "john mccain" delegates who were actually Ron Paul supporters in disguise? Even if we lose the nomination, we can still vote on lots of other stuff in regards to Party platform and so forth.
