Supporter TV Station In South Florida!

I have AT&T U-Verse, and Weather Nation is on channel 44/1044. The believe the channel is somewhat new, at least I didn't notice it until a few months ago. About 4 PM (ET) I was flipping through channels and saw the Revolution PAC title card, I'm assuming it was the end of one of their ads. At first I just assumed that Rev PAC was now airing ads in Florida, but I was a little disheartened that they were playing it on this obscure station. To see if I could catch what ad they were airing, I tuned in to Weather Nation just a few minutes ago. At first they were showing Hurricane Katrina recovery in New Orleans from 2005. I just assumed it was a documentary on Katrina until I heard the voice of…Aaron Russo!!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: They are currently airing Freedom to Fascism!

So whats the deal on this station? Has my U-Verse been hacked, or is Weather Nation airing this nationally?? The program guide says Weather Nation, not Freedom to Fascism, but so far the film is airing commercial free!

Okay I figured it out. Its not Weather Nation, its WHDT-TV, an independent station broadcasting from Stuart, Florida. Still, this is incredible!

Seriously, no one cares? My God, they are playing "For Liberty" (looks like the recut version) right now! It started at midnight….said Rev Pac was responsible. So either:

A) Rev Pac is buying up ad time on this station. (Though they would've announced it? And why play Freedom to Fascism?)
B) Someone else is buying ad time on this station. If so, mad props to you! Identify yourself so you can get inundated with +reps!
C) The owner of this station is a Paul supporter. According to Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WHDT) his name is Günter Marksteiner.

This station reaches 9 million households in South Florida! Even though it is an obscure station, imagine the channel surfers like me who found it!

You should check out Raycom Media (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?350903-Raycom-Media-has-3-Stations-in-S.-Carolina-and-2-in-Florida!!!), which owns 2 stations in Florida.

Yes this is happening. The station owner is a supporter and is donating the airtime. We provided him with some "programming" :)

I've seen their Ron vs. Mitt ad a few times.

It would be cool to identify other Ron Paul supporters that own independent television stations across the country and simulcast liberty themed programing. I know its been talked about on these forums a few times to start up our own media, this might be the most economical way to do it.

For people who don't know, the TampaBay metropolitan area has a population of 4,228,855 (18th in the country in 2,008).

Miami metro is 5,547,051 (5th in the country).

That is 9.8 million out of a state population of 19 million.

Yes, advertizing in just Two metro areas covers half the Florida population. Nothing to sneeze at.
