Does anyone know what it is? I think he could pretty easily get all the votes in PR if he was for it.

PR has 23 delegates and VERY low caucus turnout. Should be pretty easy to win.

This might help you, but it needs further research:

Puerto Rican Statehood: (Requiring Puerto Rico to make English its sole official language before being admitted as the 51st state and opposing Congress passing legislation that rigs the self-determination process in Puerto Rico).
Ron Paul...

•Cosponsored the Puerto Rico Democracy Act (H.R. 2499) in the 110th and 111th Congresses.
•Did not vote on imposter “official English” amendment to the Puerto Rico Democracy Act of 2009 (H.R. 2499), Roll Call 237, April 29, 2010.
•Did not vote on final passage of H.R. 2499, Roll Call 242, April 29, 2010.
•ProEnglish presidential candidate issues survey: "Should Puerto Rico be required to make English its only official language in the event that the people of Puerto Rico vote to become the 51st U.S. state?" Rep. Paul responded, "Not taking a position at this time."

No, they don't want statehood. Why pay taxes when you're already getting handouts for free?

I've never been to Puerto Rico. What is it like? I would imagine it would be kinda like Hawaii.

I hope he comes out more firmly for not making English the official language for Puerto Rico. That's disgusting, insulting, and definitely not pro-Liberty.

I have a friend in PR who is telling me that statehood is the single most important issue in PR. He is politically active and is telling me if Ron Paul supports PR he could prob get a lot of his friends to support Ron Paul.

I've been there once. It's very nice. Part of Pirates of the Caribean was filmed there.

Puerto Rico has voted on statehood multiple times and voted to stay just as they are.
