I havent had time yet to research some past votes by Dr. Paul on immigration / border enforcement (where he voted against) and thats hurting him on this forum.

Immigration (and abortion) are tough issues for me.
They are highly controversial, especially if you believe in limited government and freedom.

I am actually a member there. I stopped posting over there because of all the ignorance I was being faced with. It ends up with the choice of either 1) dealing with a flame war, or 2) being told you have to prove that Dr. Paul isn't a pro-illegal alien, Islamofacsist, anti-American. The negatives that a few of the members over there introduce are such ridiculous hit-pieces its not funny.
The sad part is that I want nothing to do with them if they are going to be so incredibly ignorant and not listen when we show real evidence that Dr. Paul would be their best choice. They would rather listen to some blogger that just hates Dr. Paul irrationally.
I've given up on Alipac and pulled my support until, when, or if they decide to start using reason and intelligent debate vs. name-calling.
Edit: let me add something here. You can't win every battle, so you have to look at the ones you can win. If the opposition is being really stubborn and pretending that they can be swayed, they can waste hours or even days of your time that could be spent converting and alerting others. Its important to keep from getting mired down in discussions that go nowhere. The best method is to just show his stand with enough proof, link to www.ronpaullibrary.com and move on to the next.

My motto: Never Argue with an Idiot.
We do not have to "convert" anyone - all we have to do is tell people about Dr. Paul and allow the message to speak for itself.
The people on that forum have probably never even seen the inside of a voting booth! All talk no action. Let them alone and have their fun, but after the elections are over we will be the ones having the last laugh.

The bolded part is untrue. ALIPACers are very politically involved and do vote, however, a majority over there believe Hunter and Tancredo are their only hope. They aren't a threat to us and they aren't likely to be converted.
