Well I think that Collins is a big boy and can speak for himself. What do you say Collins? You hope that Paul only gets 3.62% of the vote you backstabbing bastard!

I think that is exactly what he is saying. Most of us here are really piping on a 3rd place finish. Setting expectations. If that doesn't happen, we are gonna be devastated. Imho, I wish the campaign would have never spent a dime in SC. The voters are just not ready for truth yet, in that state. I mean - when Newt can potentially get 1st with all of his baggage. That tells me most are asleep at the wheel.
I am still hoping/praying for 3rd or better. But there is a plan in place for the campaign to go the distance, so I am not worried. I just know the media will capitalize on it.

Nah. For the media to capitalize on it, they'd have to actually say his name....
Isn't it impossible to get any delegates in SC. Since 11 of them go to the winner, and the rest go 2 delegates per Congressional District win. There are 6 Congressional Districts. Can we actually win even a single Congressional district? Seems to me the way the numbers seem to be that it is not gonna happen. ?

I think it's just pointing to how SC isn't very favorable for Paul and that we shouldn't be surprised by a 4th place finish. Hopefully he finishes 3rd or better but I'm prepared for a 4th place finish.
Maybe he move up a few spots from 5'th place last time around.

A lot of people were asking about what happened in 2008 - I think he just put this here to stop the questions.
Thank you!

And no, it ain't over til it's over. Remember, SC was never integral to RP getting the nomination, neither will FL be.
