They'll probably release the absentee and early voting quickly after the poll closing.

Final results will take all night though. I assume, like N.C. they allow whoever is in line at the polling site to vote. The doors are closed at 7:PM but that does not mean voting ceases.

Rain helps, and RP overpolling expectations in the previous primary (NH) helps. ARG signals 3rd, PPP signals 4th.

Exit poll on cnn shows 6% under 30...

No surprise it was 8% in 2008. We need to get over this idea that we are going to get a bunch of people that don't vote to vote. While we are strong with the 18-29 crowd that does vote, we seem to have this unrealistic expectation that we are going to get a massive wave of college age kids coming out to vote for the first time. They don't, so focus on the people that do.

We're now brainstorming hard about recruiting young voters through early voting, instead of getting them out to the polls on primary day:

I think King created a monster by not standing up to Newt. He could have smacked him down but backed off and made Newt look strong. Newt is a fraud. He said his two daughters would stand up for him, forgetting to mention that the two daughters came from his first marriage and have always hated the woman. Not to mention there are many many quotes where he lambasted Clinton over the whole Monica affair.

You know what's going to happen if Gingrich wins, right? The media is going to talk about a two man race! I know it's unfair! Romney will challenge Gingrich to a 1 on 1 debate... Everyone will pump up a "Gingrich or Romney" race. They will try to polarise republicans between those two.

That's not fair you say? I agree, but media is not fair... They want Ron to get as few delegates as possible.. This is how they can do that!

That's a risk I'm willing to take with the alternative being Romney being crowned after 4 primaries.

King works for CNN - otherwise known as the "Clinton News Network". Of course they want Gingrich to win, America hates him, they know he'd fare worst against Obama.

The daughters hated their own mother or the other women?

Well this is just depressing. I'm going to head off to bed if the situation hasn't improved with 10% reporting.

Ron's recent 19% polling is not being reflected in these very early results..

Ron got 11% of those who decided in the last few days. The debates never help him.
I agree, and have been saying this for a while.

Think about it people, these early returns are apparently going to have an 8% swing at the top, giving Newt the win, because right now Mittens is winning.

It is not out of the realm for the Santorum, Paul vote to get real close.

If they crowned Romney after 4 primaries, Newt and Santorum would exit, then EVERYONE would be pissed at Paul for not dropping out, saying things about "Romney really needs to focus on Obama now, instead he's dealing with this un-electable Paul" and everyone would hate us. Better Romney doesn't win and this gets dragged out.
