Help In the State Income Tax in Massachusetts

In 2000 they got 46% in the state of MA to end the income tax there. From my understanding they only need a simple majority. I think this would send a powerful message all over America if this state would repeal their income tax and certainly help Ron Paul:D

I'm confused. MA is Massachusetts. Which state abolished their income tax in 2000?
