“The Republican side loves veterans and the military - you can see that in their spending,’’ said Bradley Hatfield, 25, who served in the Marines for four years until 2009. But he agrees with Paul that some of that military spending is waste. “Ron Paul is going to end the gravy train for a lot of stuff, and it’s not going to hurt the military.’’

"Uncontrolled spending, added Jacob Jameson, 26, a Navy veteran and now an economics major, is putting the country on course to becoming “poor, broke and destitute.’’

"Last month, Jameson dug deep into his pockets - a sacrifice for any student on a budget, he said - to donate $100 to Paul’s campaign."

"I want to tell you a brief story that just came to my attention moments ago. I have a farm in Edgefield County, South Carolina. As I purchased a “raw” piece of property, I’ve needed assistance in learning “country ways”, having grown up in American suburbia. My country friends, Wesley and Sandy, signed on early with me for Ron Paul and they’ve been trying to wake up some of their neighbors out here. Well, one of our neighbors is a guy named Gary. Gary has been a self-proclaimed tea partier for years. I have had many conversations with him and attempted to explain to him the birth of the REAL Tea Party and Dr. Paul’s association with it. The result? The look of a deer in the headlights! I got nowhere. Wesley just called and said that he and Gary had to run an errand yesterday that kept Gary trapped in Wesley’s truck for a good while. Wesley whipped out a SB and told Gary to read it while they drove. The result this time? “Me and Clare’s gonna be voting for Ron Paul!”

“I recently purchased 100 brochures to hand out in my area and a few pins to wear. My boyfriend works as a windshield repair man and goes from house to house for his work. Because of this he is able to meet lots of people every day and gets about 15-20 minutes of their time and attention. He plans on wearing the Ron Paul pin in hopes of getting people to ask him about it and then he will give them a brochure and talk Ron Paul up a bit. We live in Brevard County, Florida which has Patrick Air Force Base and many retired veterans. My boyfriend is an Iraq veteran so hearing it from him I think makes a big difference to some of these people.”

“MY FRIEND ORDERED A 1000 OF THEM AND I HAVE BEEN HANDING THEM OUT TO ANYONE THAT WILL TAKE THEM, AND I HAVE WINDOW BANNERS ALL OVER MY SUV FROM RONPAULPRODUCTS.COM AND END UP HANDING THEM OUT TO PEOPLE AT RED LIGHTS ALSO.”

“This is the best, by far, campaign material for Ron Paul that I’ve seen. Being a Ron Paul campaign volunteer, I’ve been frustrated by the abscence of good person-to-person hand out material provided by the official campaign. If you feel the same… or if you are a supporter… there is no question that this brochure will give you an edge that makes a substantial difference.”
