On December 16th, there is a large donation drive to celebrate the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party for Ron Paul, and people in the forums have been suggesting a sign waving. What if instead we do a massive multi-mall march that day, in the height of Christmas shopping season.

Below is what I suggested for the Albany/Saratoga NY area, but it can be done nationally:

We gather all the local Ron Paul supporters with gear, lit and Ron Paul and Donate signs and parade through all 5 major malls in the area on the same day including: Crossgates, Colonie Center, Latham Circle Mall, Clifton Country Mall, and Wilton Mall (Saratoga Springs). We spend about an hour at each mall, walking from end to end. Because the malls will be at its height of the Christmas shopping season, we will get exposure to literally tens of thousands of people, not including the local media we would invite. Plus this is just about a month before the primaries, so the timing couldn't be better.

I'll introduce this at the next Meetup.

when I first saw your title, I thought you meant Washington, D.C. National Mall. I thought "great idea"!!!

Then I read your post. 90% of malls are entirely on private property and therefore what you suggest is not allowed, wise or something Dr. Paul would support due to the private property issues. In a downtown shopping area on public streets it is. There is a difference and we don't want to upset potential supporters on an issue like private property disrespect.

You will be thrown out before you can have much of any impact.

I would support an effort to educate people about what a President Paul woudl be like. Less focus on material goods in our society, more on helping people. If you coudl tie that into a theme that would be cool!!!
