My fellow americans...

- The Iraq war is over.

- The Iran war will not happen.

- The patriot act has been discarded.

- Your civil liberties have been restored.

- Your federal income taxes are now zero.

- The government will no longer spy on citizens.

- All long-held government secrets are being released.

- Every conviction for personal drug use is hereby pardoned.

- The federal reserve is abolished - no more "play money" shall be printed.

Sorry I couldn't be more positive on my first day in office. I'll try to do better tomorrow. Have a nice day. ;)

Okay.

- The patriot act has been discarded.

- Your civil liberties have been restored.

- The government will no longer spy on citizens.

Won't happen first day, but in a few weeks sure.

- Your federal income taxes are now zero.

Not going to happen quickly, and I could certainly see it taking until 2010 before the federal income tax is replaced with a VAT.

- All long-held government secrets are being released.

Obviously not going to happen.

- Every conviction for personal drug use is hereby pardoned.

Cool!

- The federal reserve is abolished - no more "play money" shall be printed.

Paul doesn't even claim to stand for this, he has stated he'd move to legalize competition.
