View Full Version : CNN post debate discussion waits 54 minutes before mentioning Ron Paul

Quite disturbing and obvious. The mention him quickly before going to commercial after 54 minutes of establishment candidate discussion.

CNN's 54 minutes w/o mentioning Ron is more pathetic than the 89 seconds CBS gave him in their debate.

It seems like a stretch, but considering there were only four candidates, I agree.

Tell ya what. I'll get on my hands and knees behind one of them and you give em a push.

:D

Edit:

No use getting upset there is really nothing much we can do about it.

John King feedback -> http://www.cnn.com/feedback/show/?s=johnking (Who hosted the post-debate and quickly went to commercial at the mention of Paul)
Twitter -> https://twitter.com/JohnKingCNN

Donna Brazile -> https://twitter.com/donnabrazile (To thank her for being the the only one who actually brought up Paul. She's been friendly to Paul in the past too)

I was counting how many turns the nominees were able to speak.

NEWT 16
SANTORUM 17
PAUL 13
Romney 17

Seriously, this is bias, and rigged. I understand if someone might have less turns out of luck, but their negligence of Paul is way too consistent.

I'm glad the crowd yelled for the mod to give Ron Paul a chance to answer a question he was skipped on.

Today, Fox is replaying long segments on Romney and Gingrich
much less Santorum, and no replays of Paul whatsoever.
All day Gingrich Romney clips.

Seems like a collective effort to ignore him after that last debate.

They are back to the blackout technique, since attacking him backfired.

Re: talking time stats. That's disgusting. CNN's own poll shows him neck-and-neck with Obama, but they give more time to the unelectable anti-Romney pair.

That is exactly why they and everyone else don't give him the talking time.

At the beginning of the debate, I distinctly remember King saying that each candidate would get their "fair share" of debate time.

And I remember immediately thinking, "Hmmm...I wonder what CNN thinks Ron Paul's 'fair share' should be...?"

It seemed like every time it was his turn, King would preface his questions with "quickly" like Ron was eating into everyone else's time.

Watching CNN's political coverage last night and today is like watching a commercial for Gingrich. They keep saying that no one will care about this business with his ex-wife... are you kidding me? No one in S.C. caring? No one in a national election caring that he ran out on a woman with cancer and then another with multiple sclerosis? Give me a break.

It seemed like every time it was his turn, King would preface his questions with "quickly" like Ron was eating into everyone else's time.

He knew, that Ron would subconsciously take that "quickly" as meaning he would have to hurry with his response. Of course that is why Ron often didn't give a good response to questions he knew how to answer, because he felt he had to hurry. Ron seemed to know this time, to take his time with his responses.

Ron isn't some kind of dummy to fall for such a tactic. In fact, I'm pretty sure he is a genius.

I hope every time those moderators try to make him hurry, he will even take more time to answer the question.

I smell fear...broadcast news is on the same road as 8track and vhs and their corporate puppet masters know this and are trying to squeeze as much cash out as possible and the Good Dr. threatens that with all his internet support.

The "system" is falling apart

I would have enjoyed if he asked "Why, do you have somewhere you need to be?"
