I completely missed this yesterday and it didn't catch my attention until the Ron Paul Facebook page was updated with the video and this comment:

"Floor Speech on repealing section 1021 of the NDAA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg69QM1yXQQ#!"

Here's the problem. It's Section 1031 that addresses the "indefinite detention."

Section 1021 addresses Availability of funds for maritime ships. It's a completely different section altogether.

I don't like this discrepancy at all. I think it's important for someone to let Paul know since he specifically addressed 1021 in Congress yesterday.....

See S. Bill 1867 Here (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-112s1867pcs/pdf/BILLS-112s1867pcs.pdf)

See him address Section 1021 here:

Agh! Gotcha. They changed it from the original version. Sigh of relief.

The original version was 1031.
The final version has it at 1021.

Yep, it's intentionally an utterly confusing mess imo.

Unless the bill changed, Tyler_Durden is correct! It's section 1031, according to the link to the actual bill that he posted.
EDIT: Ahhhh, the bill DID change.
