If they do, and he says it, we need a crowd there to boo him. He likes to act like the team player .

Newt Gingrich told me in Iowa that he doesn’t think he could vote for Ron Paul if the Texas congressman were to win the GOP nomination. He cites Paul’s national security policies. Will Gingrich be prepared to go that far in the debate?

Aside from that, they are going to encourage the candidates to attack each other. It will be ugly.

Please, please, please, I hope Newt goes there! Ron need only to bring up this week's CNN poll that shows him to be the one who is electable.

that makes CNN as much of a bad guy as Newt in my book they are trying to split us off.

I'm fairly sure the crown would boo if he said no. Anyway, it will open a discussion about Ron Paul's foreign policy. Ron, I just hope you're ready to talk about that tonight...

but will he?

I agree he should mention however many polls it was since Iowa (three?) that polled head to head and he is always ahead of Gingrich polling head to head against Obama. Tied, in fact, with Obama, statistically.

What is the big deal here? We already know Ron wouldn't vote for Newt. Seems like a non-story.

Which will play perfectly to Newt's typical M.O. of calling out the media and moderators rather than answering the questions. watch for it.

Newt can't win with us either. Vast majority of people know him to be a dirt bag.

Newt: "I will not lower myself to the negativity and smear tactics of the liberal left and I'm proud of the positive campaign that we've run, but let me just say right here that a Ron Paul presidency threatens the very fundamental fabric of human existence."

I like the idea of mentioning Ron's support accounts for 20% of the GOP and that you can't win the general election without us. Should hurt Newt's "electability" claim.

He'll side step the question as he did with Wolf a few weeks ago:

He'll say something like: "Ron Paul is a candidate with a great issue, auditing the federal reserve. But the fact is he will not be the nominee of the Republican Party"

Remind me again Newt, how far behind me did you place in Iowa and New Hampshire? Oh yeah, also how many states ballots did you manage to make?

Perry was asked if he would repeat a statement about someone on stage at one of the early debates and he chickened out.

Paul was asked to repeat the chickenhawk remark and said it to Newt's face.

I wonder if Newt will chicken out. That would be good.

Enough with the drama. I'm sick of it.

It's one thing to bring up issues, or records. People need to know those things.

But inciting personal attacks, or drama for the sake of drama, is getting sickening.

Ron has alluded to it by referencing when he was drafted, but sometimes I wish he would come out and say it.

I was looking at the Southern Leadership Conference earlier for clues about Cain and they appear to be sending bus loads of people to the debate tonight.
