Phone from Home is now doing GOTV calls in SC. I believe they have loaded GOP/Indies/Dems, and the script is designed to Get Out The Vote.

The people of SC are getting bombarded so expect some annoyed people. We just got a voter here simply by being the only live callers out of the 55 the voter had counted in the last 24 hrs...

TREAT THEM WITH LOV3!

Smile and dial!

Talking Points:

Economy - Ron Paul is the only candidate talking about actual spending cuts without hurting those already on Social Security/Medicare

"The Plan" Summary is here http://www.sendspace.com/file/aqitzu

Foreign Policy - The troops overwhelmingly support Paul as Commander in Chief because they trust that he will obey his oath and follow the Constitution when sending them off to war

Many of these voters have probably not been targeted by the other campaigns. Cost/Benefit issues... We can because we have PfH :D

It also helps to have Sen. Tom Davis' endorsement speech if front of you. I have used it a lot.

Are the Dems receptive to the pro-peace theme?

Do many of them understand they can vote without registration change?

Please don't call the same house twice. For the love of God. I hope this was fixed since Iowa disaster.

They care more about bringing people together. I told them about a first hand experience at a Ron Paul event where they "wouldn't have believed the diversity that was there! Dr. Paul upholds the Constitution and Freedom. Freedom brings people together... and that's what he can do in Washington, DC."

What disaster?

Do you think the campaign should just have left the calling to the grassroots and saboteurs? Not done any internal polling? Etc...?

How about them voters who have never voted in a caucus/primary? How much of a disaster do you think it was giving them an extra call?

I'm no expert on the art of finding a balance between over-calling and under-calling, but I do trust the guys running this campaign and I choose to be an indian in a movement with too many damn chiefs.

Electoral politics is a contact sport and these are complex systems that are used to win campaigns via personal contact. It works, and that is why campaigns do it.

One lady in SC told us she was getting a robo call from Mitt every. twenty. minutes. Imagine that!

Campaigns are kinda like controlled chaos. All of them. A large part of success is who can keep their cool under pressure and press on. Are there glitches? Sure. Is it worth stressing much over? Nah. Adjust, Improve, and PRESS HARDER!

:D

Anytime is a good time to call. People eat at different times and you may catch the early/late eaters at the perfect time. If they are eating or the kids are screaming/etc. just apologize and hopefully we'll call em back.
