Headline: Rick Santorum wins Iowa, Mitt Romney loses his inevitability.
So here we are, after weeks of Romney being the anointed one due to his "unprecedented" double wins in Iowa and New Hampshire. Over two weeks of "money, momentum and media" for Mitt Romney, effecting voting in New Hampshire, North Carolina and Florida (many people in Florida have already mailed in their ballots).
As one reporter said, this can not be undone. But a new narrative should come out of this: Romney is no longer inevitable. Romney did not have a "clean sweep". At least two weeks of solid reporting on the fact that Romney is not inevitable might make up for the two weeks of reporting an error.

Many pundits and analysts are saying that the race is essentially over, as the candidate who wins both of these States is always the eventual nominee.
...
Meanwhile, the media narrative of the inevitable Romney nomination due to first place finishes in both Iowa and New Hampshire will continue, during the two week certification process, and possibly beyond.
