How is the media deciding to run news about a fake YouTube "ad" supposedly put out by Ron Paul any different from the media trying to decide when to run a potentially damaging interview with Newt's ex-wife? Both only days before a primary? Both should be considered a crime committed on the electorate.

Newt and Santorum were both on the Foxnews payroll as consultants for years up until they decided to run for President. FNC spent a great deal of time promoting these candidates over others despite being lower in the polls compared to other candidates. Greta who has Gingrich on the most came out tonight and said ABC should wait until after the primary. These are the same people that have no trouble digging up old news from 20 years ago about Ron prior to a primary.

It is not like any of this stuff is a secret, so it makes me wonder with all the campaign finance laws, how they are able to get away with it.

No, there should not be a law. That's an infringement on private property. Instead, the FCC should be abolished.
