Caller seemed bored/disinterested. Asked me if I wanted to hear a message from Ron Paul. Told her I was already a supporter and her time would probably be best spent calling someone else.

Does the campaign have paid staff making calls? This person didn't sound like an enthusiastic volunteer!

no, they're not supporters. They outsource the calls to a calling firm i'm sure.

They are paying for this service, trying to raise as much as possible.

Should've asked for the firm she works for and report them to the campaign as losers. Then do a Romney... fire them!

I received a similar call last evening. Certainly not a favorable impression for anyone not already on board.

It's not a call to get your support, it's a call to get a donation. The message is pre-recorded with him explaining what they're doing in South Carolina and beyond, and how they need cash. So donate today!

Yeah I have gotten one of those as well. I believe they are fundraising calls and are outsourced. They are calling previous donors.

Just to be fair, the job that worker is doing is tedious, incredibly boring, pays little and she is liked micromanaged to death for her calls per hour. A call center is the sweatshop of the 21st century.

Every call I've gotten from him or Rand the last few years has been exactly like this. Be nice to them and see if you can cheer them up a bit.
