Look at this breakdown on Open secrets. It's DOD personnel that's driving a large portion of his donations. Having been in the militay, one could construe this as not actual "military" donations from uniformed person's who do the fighting and dieing. By including these numbers it makes Obama's numbers in "military support" close to Ron's.

DOD personnel can be people working for the MIC like DOD civilians and contractors. Paul is only pulling in $9,527 from DOD. But as one of the comments there states....These are not people with "their butt's on the line".


I've been getting some resistance from other conservatives who think Ron's support is skewed because of the similar donations to Obama. Now it makes more sense to me
