Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnel calls out the AP big time for their hit piece on Dr. Paul's air travel. I'm kind of shocked.

Keep in mind this guy is a former Democrat Party staffer and is largely a partisan hack. That's part of what makes what happened here so surprising.

Agreed, and I don't get why we should be sending thank you messages anytime someone shows a modicum of integrity that is nearly always lacking from their reports. It's like I sit on my ass at work for weeks and then I do my job for 10 minutes and my boss walks in and pats me on the back. That sounds reasonable.

Wow, a real journalist that investigates the facts before regurgitating someone elses smear. Not only that, he stepped up to present the facts and correct the smear. These bits and pieces, that keep hope and faith alive for humanity to me are sweet.

I knew he was flying in first class only with frequent flyer upgrades and the people at AP knew that too. That's common for people who fly a lot. What the hell is wrong with whoever wrote that piece.

You seriously wonder why some of the pundits hate us?! Thank him for his very nice piece and move on.

A murderer in prison can do good deeds years after his murder, thanking him for picking up something you dropped doesn't make him any less of a murderer, nor you an endorser of murder.

Awesome... I'm really sick of the AP articles that appear on Yahoo (yes, I know Yahoo blows). At first I was blaming Yahoo, which I kinda do because they always favor AP articles, but it's a group of AP writers that are consistently ignoring and slandering Dr. Paul.

When he didn't find it, and instead found facts that support Paul walking his talk when it comes to spending, he reported that. He didn't have too. Yet he did. He corrected a media smear against Paul. That's a good thing. Baby steps for some. lol

I just gave him some positive Twitter feedback for a step in the right direction. It is often this kind of event, where someone goes on a brainwashed anti-Paul tirade only to find out they are wholly and completely wrong, that gets them into realizing that Paul has the correct answers to a lot of the problems we need to solve today.

I don't believe that O'Donnell has any honor.. Foxnews.com picked up the story and ran with it and he just wants to slap them around.. He'll give Ron a bump (and he owes him one after his comments on New Hampshire) if he can stick it to the entire GOP/Right wing media. We should ask that someone friendly to Paul (Harris Faulkner, Neil Cavuto) do a retraction bit on the AP story..

People still vote on perception every bit as much (if not more so) than on practical issues.

But the point is still that the media would rather wave around the newsletter issue than point out Paul's pension stance. So you won't even get people to know of the pension issue if all the media wants to do is tear him down as a racist.

Wow! Is that real investigative journalism!? I didn't think it existed in the msm. Amazing. Larry needs some love.

If you send O'Donnell any love over this, you're insane. In the very next segment, he pulled a Tucker Carlson and brought in that self-promoting douchebag from the Bunny Ranch and two of his hookers to talk about why they supported Ron Paul. Then he read something from a newsletter Ron said he didn't write, and quoted it as something Ron "said" and tried to get the hookers to recant. To their credit, they didn't. But it was clearly all about drumming up business for the second oldest profession and nothing else. And O'Donnel is nothing if not a great operative for the D party.

He's the only one who got the airfare story right. So he get credit for that. But he clearly brought in the pimp so it would not be a positive story. He couldn't just leave it at good journalism. He had to mislead in the very next segment. No love needed or deserved here.

From the look on his face, I took it that he was royally pissed that he almost did a hit on Ron Paul, and that, if it wasn't for his staff, AP would have made a fool out of him.

More and more people, in and out of the media, are FINALLY, realizing the lies, smears and omissions about Ron Paul, and are getting quite angry.

No matter how biased people are, deep down, most do have a sense of fairness and equal play.

They are seeing this is not the case when Ron Paul is involved and I think they are becoming sickened by this.

As I said on some sites in November and December, this is going to rebound on the media big time.

People will NOT forget and will NOT be fooled again.

I have also noted that none of the media have said much about the 4 SC political endorsements of Ron Paul.

There again, they are also deliberately misinforming about SC and Florida voting rules.
