overall positive article, but still full of biased words like 'doomsday vision' and 'long-shot'. Journalist doesn't even know that the Federal Reserve isn't a part of the Federal Government... how do you even get a job writing about politics in 2012 if you don't know that?

Well...technically, the Federal Reserve is a special purpose vehicle of the federal government (http://mises.org/daily/4171). It's privately owned, but the actual power over it belongs largely to the Presidency. It's such a shady mix of private/governmental, that it's easy to understand why people get confused.
