NJ state assemblyman Michel J. Doherty was mentioned on another thread -- he has endorsed Ron Paul.

CA state senator Tom McClintock is good, but rumor is that he has endorsed Fred Thompson. Maybe he'll switch to Ron Paul after Thompson drops out in January.

US Congressmen Jeff Flake and Jeb Hensarling have strong records on fiscal issues, but I think they are lacking in the foreign policy area.

Former New Hampshire governor Craig Benson was friendly to the Free State Project.

I think the various state assemblies are the best places to look, since the US House of Representatives doesn't have many Constitutionalists, and the Senate is even worse. If we can't find enough future pro-liberty Presidential timber in the state houses, we'll have to start planting our own.

We need to start preparing the short list of pro-liberty Presidential candidates for 2016, after Ron Paul's second term ends.

Rep. Jim Guest (R-MO) introduced Paul at the Iowa Tax Rally, and has a new liberty-oriented radio show during which he pushes Paul's campaign on We The People Radio Network (wtprn.com (http://wtprn.com)).

I think Rep. Walter Jones (R-SC) has come around to the liberty message as well.

SC Governor Mark Sanford is somewhat of a libertarian conservative also I think.

Look to see who else is involved in the Republican Liberty Caucus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republican_Liberty_Caucus) in the House and see which representatives actually vote for constitutional principles.

AlexMerced, ask and ye shall receive,

Here is a PDF of the Conservative index for the 109th Congress. It gives a Constitutional percentage ranking for each member of the House and Senate in accordance to their votes. Naturally Dr. Paul scored a 100%.

Awesome thanks, anyone know of up and comers, people not in office yet that would prove potential, cause the goal is to get people not in office to fill all those positions taken by less constitutional candidates and try to create national awareness of them in order to help them locally.

Yeah Sanford is my governor, and although I have not watched him closely the general opinion is that he has done a great job, and I agree.

You know when he was first elected he got 2 pigs and carried them to the state politicians and told them that it was time to cut out the fat? lol

Funny story but very much true. Sanford however I don't think is a Ron Paul. But if he is not he is getting close I guess.

Regardless.. we need to unite. We also need to hold those accountable that screw Americans.

I hope this revolution doesnt stop with Ron Paul.

Jeff flake is a complete FAKE when it comes to the issue of illegal immigration. He supported McCains plan on that. Illegal immigration is a HUGE issue and I will never support anyone if they are soft on that.

I does not have to; we need to continue our support to other candidates who believe in the constitution. That is the reason I have begun a political committee, to do just that.
