When asked by Sean Hannity why Ron Paul wasn't entirely behind Newt's exhortation to kill America's enemies with no trial and no attorney, Newt said (and I'm paraphrasing), when terrorists come to this country and kill 3,000 people, nobody wants to see "legal mumbo jumbo" take precedent over bringing these people to justice.

That "legal mumbo jumbo" in question happens to be the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Amendments to our Bill of Rights, Mr. Gingrich. Just how much of our Constitution do you want to scrap to win the "war on terror"?

Gingrich is well-established in his beliefs about wanting to dodge Due Process and undermine the Bill of Rights. He has a deep disdain for the Bill of Rights. He is a straight-up fascist, and I'm not even exaggerating.

Recall what he said on Nov. 22, 2011. He advocates skirting the constitution when dealing with terrorism, even domestically. Supposedly he's going to separate criminal law and national security. The constitution will only apply sometimes.

Gingrich: We need a stronger Patriot Act to save cities from nuclear weapons (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?332191-Gingrich-We-need-a-stronger-Patriot-Act-to-save-cities-from-nuclear-weapons&prefixid=newt)

Also, back in 2008, he said we need another(!) anti-terror agency that has "extraordinary" ability to dodge the constitution.

Gingrich wants a new 'very aggressive' anti-terror agency with extraordinary abilities (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?332832-Gingrich-wants-a-new-very-aggressive-anti-terror-agency-with-extraordinary-abilities)

And in 2006, he advocated that America needs to have a "very serious debate about the first amendment," because he wants to control domestic speech too. And he wants to have a "Geneva Convention" for terrorism so that he can define which Amendments he can dodge when dealing with terrorism suspects.

If Newt had a time machine, he could walk into Gestapo Headquarters and goose-step right out the other side without missing a beat.
