I'm not exactly sure how "wise" this would be, but what would happen if we uploaded a "HQ" video of Ron Paul on YouTube? You know, instead of it being in LQ and in Mono, it would be in HQ and in Stereo.

An example would be this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=-e8P7kIQlbU

So, good idea or bad idea?

I don't see why it would be bad...

Well, it "cheats" YouTube's system.

Interesting...care to say how this is accomplished?

It appears it has something to do with giving the video file a false length.

youtube now allows up to 1gig for a upload so you can have much higher quality.

I have broadband and those UL quality sometimes buffer.

But I'd love to see RP's video in UL! If people start uploading from DVR with UL quality, we can then have other decent videos too that people make using those videos.

How so? I go to upload and get this "Your video is limited to 10 minutes and 100 MB." Do you need an upgraded account or something?

As noted- it does have something to do with faking the time.
