Four of the Republican presidential candidates are slated to appear at a pro-life forum in South Carolina on Wednesday to appeal to voters just days before they cast ballots in the third primary election battleground state.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, Congressman Ron Paul, and Texas Governor Rick Perry are scheduled to participate in the Presidential Prolife Forum at the Hilton Hotel in Greenville, South Carolina on Wednesday. Former Governor Mitt Romney has not responded to invitations to attend the event.
The forum follows a pro-life tele-town hall that took place on December 27 that provided voters with additional insight into the pro-life views of the Republican candidates seeking to replace pro-abortion President Barack Obama. As was the case with the tele-town hall event, Personhood USA and other pro-life groups are sponsoring Wednesday’s event.
