No offense, but I don't care what the Union Leader thinks. They're irrelevant and have been proven so.

Spin to mitigate their realization that they are irrelevant.

I thought it was a bridge of sorts, and am inclined to refrain from burning it.

Most boring response imaginable. Paul's line was really funny and bold. It was an opportunity for them. They could have had a lot of fun responding to it, mocking it, disagreeing with it, etc., if they had any real writer with half an ounce of talent or creativity. Clearly they don't. This response was a non-response. Staid, stale, and stupid. Could have been written by a robot.

There was a prior response, maybe not by this very guy, but by the paper. It was the day after the primary and wasn't pleased at all. I didn't post it. This one seemed more open minded.

Those of us that live in NH and understand NH politics aren't against the Union Leader. While I completely disagree with the Union Leader when it comes to national issues, I usually agree with the Union Leader on state issues. AFAIK, the Union Leader is still the least bad state paper when it comes to liberty. Please correct me if I am wrong. If you are confused on my post, please see my previous posts on this issue.

The Union Leader has great high school sports coverage...that's about all I ever got out of it.

Oh... The union leader is a newspaper. I thought Dr. Paul was thanking the actual leader of a union because he doesn't like unions.
