It was pretty cold outside, so the rally was still a success.

that is undercounted based on what I've seen/heard

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but is there a video up of Ron's speech? I can't seem to find it.
Thanks!

CNN has been doing a great job lately of covering Paul, kudos to them!

Why would the campaign's communication director report 5,000 people if that isn't true?

1500 is way too low. I was there and I could see the crowd going down the hill. It was really huge. Dr. Paul said it was the largest rally he attended.

I think his own words speak for itself.

I was there and I'd put the crowd at min. 3,000 and more like 3,500-4,000.

NO WAY it was only 1,500. Local Fox station in Philly just put it as "thousands" in their newscast.

After seeing what I saw in this thread I guess I was right when I said "MSM will number will be 1/4 of the real count"

Doesn't the police report "official" counts?

The campaign needs to have a Press Release with official numbers.

I was there, I would definitely say 3000-5000. There were a ton of people there. I'll upload some crowd shots in a few minutes.

I caught a few glimpses of the crowd on the live feed. That seems like a good guestimate. It was certainly more than 2,000.

no I haven't - but a long thread of people bitchign does nothing.

Libertyeagle, how many signatures did you collect for Ron Paul in Illinois today?

Walt, constantly putting people down over and over and OVER again and trying to guilt people and being so negative is even more counterproductive.

I spent 6 hours walking for 6 pages of petitions after working 16 hours stright yesterday and on 3 hours of sleep on my ONE day off this week. What did YOU do today?

i was there... 1,500 would definitely seem low.... my estimate would be 4,000+. There were a lot of people there.

I just got home from the rally, but wait a minute... i can't believe what i read... Did the MSM already report about the rally? ? ? ?

Now that's weird :D

When did it happened? Having reports of Ron Paul events in the day? What's next? hehehehe

I was at the rally, there was ALOT of people, it was no small-time thing. I also got my $1 Bill signed by the Congressman himself, I was amazed of how close I got to him. Overall, I was very happy with the day. :D

The people I was there with all agree on about 4,000 people. Easily.

No I will not sell it, it was basiclly just the only thing I could make him sign. I didn't think I would get that close, but I am getting it framed and hanging it in my room.

I also wanna say, during the speech Paul was very good, he didn't stumble on that many words, and to people who say he isn't that great of a speaker, he is getting better. I was pretty amazed of how he is getting better, and only putting more hope into me and the campaign.
