Why is Gingrich and/or Gingrich PACs not hammering at Dr. Paul? Surely, they sees Paul as a threat.....

I doubt the Gingrich camp sees us as a threat in South Carolina. That's why this moneybomb needs to be big so we can take them and everyone else by surprise.

Gingrich has to come 1st so he must go after Romney. But we have to come at least 2nd- in order to accomplish our goal of narrowing down the field. If gingrich gets 3rd and we are 2nd, Romney first, it pretty much guarantees that everyone else drops out. None of them, especially Santorum, have the capacity to move on to Florida, and on from that they will consider it a lost election. So SC is the MOST IMPORTANT stand for us. We have to get at least second which will be the biggest step towards reaching our goals.

Gingrich might like to slam everyone else all the time, but since he has finite resources it makes sense for him to hit the frontrunner. Especially since he really can't survive another poor finish. It's a testament to his strength in the South (and his name recognition) that back-to-back fourth place finishes haven't left him with single digit polling. But one more bad showing and people will conclude that he can't win anywhere.
Anyway, works out fine for us.
