If they actually dress up like KKK they could easily get themselves killed. People do not think that stuff is funny.

It isn't going to happen, they were caught. Now they are pretending that they are getting death threats over it, to deflect from their nasty plan to slander us.

I'm glad the media is picking up on this. Stories like this will help inoculate the campaign against the series of dirty tricks I'm sure are being planned to try and undermine Paul.

I feel bad for Jere and the mindset which has led him to say and do these atrocious things from the comfort of his computer, miles away from any face to face confrontation. I hope this fallout is a wake up call for him and that he sees the error in his ways.

I saw an article from the examiner that showed he was getting death threats and all kinds of nasty email and communication. Apparently he is a google employee and army veteran who has done 4 tours in Iraq and gotten several bronze stars. It is this kind of overreaction that puts us in a bad light. Wish I could just tell our more radical elements to chill, yo.

You have absolutely got to be kidding that you BELIEVED he was getting the death threats he said he got after first suggesting a plot to demonize us in other ways through fraud. Clearly, he thinks it is completely ok to lie about us, and he only came out with this tack after first being caught and having it written up in stories.

This article indicates he was in the Army from 1996 to 2000 or 02.

This issue has also helped to highlight who on this board may be posing as a Paul supporter here.

Anyone suggesting we look the other way while others try to make the bogus racist smears get worse against Paul and his supporters are not Paul supporters to me.

Served from 1996 to 2000. 4 years. Couldn't have been in Iraq, or Afghanistan. Haiti maybe... Still, if he was that decorated, he wouldn't be only a Specialist. he'd be at least a Sgt.

There is a difference between knowing when enough is enough (except they started with a new round of lies) and 'looking the other way'. Us acting badly would reflect on Ron, as well. WWRPD

Supporters need to be professional, for example not antagonizing cops at Newts HQ in NH. But for people like those running these smears and engaging in conspiricy, the world would be better if there was zero tolerance for that kind of behavior.

This is true.

I was talking about a few posts I saw in the thread last night that didn't seem to be taking the gravity of the situation seriously at all. Being called a racist is THE MOST TOXIC label a candidate or his supporters can have put on them.

Sure enough, it came out that some of the people from the Stop Ron Paul 2012 site did have spy accounts here.

I will also add that the guy whose idea it was to tell his hate group of 500+ to dress in KKK outfits and follow Paul around SC with Paul signs, deserves whatever "putting him in his place" actions that came his way last night.

What a heinous and dispicable thing that man did. It can not be tolerated!!!!

This is serious to me. So many of us have worked hard over the last 4+ years and or have donated a lot of money, sweat and tears and the last thing we need is to loose all gains over something like these. If you remember in '07-'08 Paul had only just started to get some press and BAM, out came those stupid news letters and Paul as well as us had the toughest time getting anyone to listen to him/us after that.

Anything we can do to premptively strike and stop it if we see it brewing anywhwere needs to be done. To much is at stake.

This is politcs and if we all act like pushovers, we will get run over on the way to the WH.

Wait.. I dont'get this. Seeing as we're all racist freaks who are convinced that the NWO is headed by aliens from the Draco constelation.. why would they need to do this to smear us? Kinda pointless, tbh.

Tell them the author is a part of the "Stop Ron Paul 2012" Facebook group which was planning to pose as KKK supporting Ron Paul to discredit him. Ask his posting access to be revoked.

Put a link to this article with it:

The article written on your site titled "Ron Paul supporters threaten Atlanta family with rape, death" who's author of this article I am reporting is a part of the "Stop Ron Paul 2012" Facebook group which was planning to pose as KKK supporting Ron Paul to discredit him.

I ask that this article he wrote be removed from your site immediately and that his posting access to be revoked. Below please find an article written at International Business Times regarding this group;

In retrospect I probably should have called the author out by name "Joe Newby" and also included the screenshot of his postings in that facebook group. Someone should start collecting some of his posts in that facebook group for the exposed page.

Examiner contributor Joe Newby is another problem altogether. He's written several smear articles against Dr. Paul AND Paul supporters.

Here is another of his fabulous rants:

5. Aryans stroll through courthouse
The Spokesman Review, Aug. 30, 2000
http://www.spokane.net/Off-site Link
[Story no longer online? Read this]
Coeur d'Alene _ Tired of getting little reaction outside, three Aryan Nations members decided to take a little stroll Tuesday afternoon through the Kootenai County Courthouse.

Their exercise put several Kootenai County deputies on alert while they guarded the courtroom.
(...)

Jere Brower, 24, and two other unidentified Aryans walked nervously through the metal detector and then started handing out racist literature.

They handed a copy to Bill Keenan, who was waiting outside the courtroom where his ex-wife, Victoria, and their son, Jason Keenan, sat in the trial.

Bill Keenan took the flier and ripped it into pieces in front of the Aryans before walking over and throwing the paper away in a trash can.
(...)

Eventually, the Aryans left the courthouse and gathered outside on Garden Avenue where the number of police had dropped by half from Monday. But, the Aryan presence quadrupled from two to eight.

One of those Aryans was Mike McQueeney, who drove to Coeur d'Alene from Mercer, Wis., to support Butler and protest against Irv Rubin, the leader of the Jewish Defense League from Los Angeles.

McQueeney said he and Rubin supporters scuffled two years ago on a Jerry Springer show titled ''Klan-frontation.''

''He's one of the most hated men in America,'' McQueeney said of Rubin. ''I don't mean any physical harm to the guy. I just believe in different things than him.''
http://www.apologeticsindex.org/news/an200830.html

From what I can figure out he's 36 years old which would have put him at 24 years of age in the year 2000 which matches the articles description. Assuming his story that he does have an Asian wife and was a Cain supporter so, yea if this guy is a racist x-Aryan Nation, and trying to run a false flag KKK attack, this guy has some serious issues.

Wow, this dude was/is an ACTUAL freaking Aryan. What a tool.

Newby is just a joke, unless anyone didn't know that. According to wikipedia, here is how their writers:

"Examiners are paid based on a black box system considering page views and other metrics, or the "Gawker-model", made famous by the blog Gawker.com. During 2009, many of the writers were receiving $0.01 per page view. Examiner.com later offered a variety of pay scale options to their writers. Examiner.com now bases compensation on variables such as subscriptions, page view traffic and session length."

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Examiner.com

As other people have said, we should contact examiner.com about their this BS 'journalist.' It is their right to leave this junk up, but something tells me that they wouldn't want toi.
