Agree on the "Polls" being added. Also the one that is in yellow (can't remember which one it is right now) kind of fades into the background.

But yes, I do agree the change is good.

I would have gone with splitting Grassroots Central up into 3 or so subforums though, but I guess this is the next best thing (no, not the horrible movie with madonna)

Not sure if I was the first to suggest this, but I did make the suggestion. I thought this idea was a good way to meet half way between maintaining the status quo and delegating the power to the individual subforums. A Rand-esque compromise, if you will. Awesome that it was implemented.
