Seems Jesse Ventura may be running for 08 as well.

Personally I think he would look good backing Ron Paul
Jesse is a critic of the Iraq war and could detract from Ron Paul.

I don't know...Jesse was kinda of cool and ripped on everyone, but he said some dumb things:

"Organized religion is a sham and a crutch for weak-minded people who need strength in numbers. It tells people to go out and stick their noses in other people's business." -- Jesse Ventura

Ventura was quite popular and got re-elected because he wasn't part of the political status quo.

He's not a particularly strong choice in a candidate.

I don't find that quote any more offensive than most of the BS politicians spew about their religious beliefs, it sound honest if nothing else.

There are much smarter, much more electable, and much more serious choices.

Ron choosing Jesse would doom the campaign.

He was governor of Minnesota before that US Navy Seal
also at one time a wrestler.

He would look great presiding over the Senate

Will admit he looks lousy with the beard and hair
it would be a good kickass addition to Ron Paul who looks
somewhat wimpy albeit energetic like a kid.

check what he has to say on youtube or google video's.

Just a small note - Ventura didn't get re-elected, he only ran once.

Really? My bad then.

Still I can't imagine what he'd bring to the table, we've got enough of a credibility problem as it is.

He does speak candidly like Ron Paul:

Personally, I really liked what Jesse V. had to say, and what he did, while in office. I think that combo would rock, but then again, I'm weird like that.

My husband disagrees with me. Hrm. (Nothing new in this house! LOL!)
