Haven't seen much action about this money bomb on the boards but the pledge total is already above BTO's pledge total.

mod: pledge here --> http://ronpaul-2012.org/mbpledge_sc.html

Pretty surprising/impressive given how little time/energy that's gone into it (re: just a couple emails from John Tate). What are people expecting in terms of dollars raised tomorrow (and Sunday assuming it gets extended)?

Money Bombs get seriously interesting when you cross the +100k donors per money bomb threshhold. Now all of sudden, the average donation Only needs to be $40 and you have a cool $4M in the bank. At 200k donors, $40 each banks $8M. In other words, it becomes a lot easier to raise a lot of money.

Given that the campaign is not only still alive after Iowa and NH but actually in position to win over the not-Romney note, I wouldn't be surprised if we now have a 'money bomb donor base' above 100k. Which is pretty awesome given that such a number = pie-in-the-sky only 4 short weeks ago (re: teaparty11 forecasted 65-70k donors*).

*Did the campaign ever post the unique donors total for teaparty11?

Personally i'm still feeling 2-3 million. What strikes me is Santorum supposedly raised about 3 million only after winning Iowa. Why is it so hard for us to expand our base and tap into this pool? Did we ever find out if Cain actually raised that 8 mil like his campaign boasted about?

My parents have always questioned my donating so much but now even they say they are going to donate after how good he's done.. My father is terribly excited about the liberty movement for the first time..

Tomorrow? I thought it was Saturday. Or does today feel like Friday to you? (I totally wish it were Friday.)

My bad! My brain associated Friday midnight with tomorrow. :)

MODS, is it possible to replace "tomorrow" with "1/14" ?

It is interesting for the prior money bombs it was hardcore focus, getting the pledges to a certain level and message bombing the life out of everyone. Now, we do not even have a website up for the money bomb and we could possibly have the biggest day yet.

It seems that the money bombs are normally turning out about 4x's the amount pledged so right now we are on track for about 2 million but there is still time for more pledging. With the extension through the weekend I would expect 3 to 4 million, which is really not bad.

He needs a TON, I think they said $10 million, whether that was on top of the $6M or including it, I don't know. But they need a ton. I hope it's huge. The pledge link is below the banner in my signature, I tried to tie it to the banner but messed up.

lol, that's what's so odd about this MB. It feels like no one is doing anything for it (not even the campaign) and yet, the pledge total points to $2million-ish. I'd love to see the campaign buy up a bunch of display-ad space tomorrow to help get the word out.

And on Saturday, they should replace all of those banner ads with 'live ticker banner ads'

Wow almost at $500k and hardly any grassroots promotion has happened. We still have a whole day left to promote this thing. Let's milk it for all it's worth.

I got a call they were asking for $10M -not all in one day- but let's try!!

I think a lot of the "sleepers" who donated in 2008 and felt disappointed are seeing now VICTORY IS POSSIBLE. They're seeing what he's accomplished in Iowa and NH and know he can go a lot further with their support. They're waking up all over again, and it's a brand new day!
This could be HUGE!

We have never had a Money Bomb in January. This is really amazing!!!

I think the RP Grassroots is just ready to explode!!!!

Remember Romney has raised $56 Million thru 31 Dec with $19 Million in Cash on Hand.

Ron Paul has raised approximately $25.5 Million thru 31 Dec with (my guess) $4.5 Million in Cash on Hand.

Romney has a big fund raising event on January 17th on Wall Street. Let's give him a Money Bomb Figure he will never forget or match!!!!!

27 hours 40 Minutes to GO!!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT!!!

im guessing it will be our biggest this cycle. with the great showing in NH, theres more energy and optimism than ever. so therefore, i expect most people to donate a little extra than usual, i know i am. so with more donors than usual and more donation amount per donator, we should have a special day

Santorum's money likely came from the preacher's congregations and the phony tea party groups; Tea Party Nation, Tea Party Patriots, etc..
