View Full Version : NFL star running back Arian Foster is voting for Ron Paul! (tube added)

It might have been a joke, but Arian Foster just said he is voting for Ron Paul.

My husband was watching NFL Network, and during the game Arian Foster runs up to a ref who is trying to break up a fight between 2 players. Arian says they were just talking politics... that one is a democrat and one is a republican. The ref asks what party he belongs to and he says "green party," but that he is actually voting for Ron Paul.

We need to go out and get the TEBOW endorsement. Tebow was home schooled, I could see Tebow supporting Ron Paul. Their both underdogs that pull off last minute wins!!! :D

There is a good chance that Foster supports Paul. I noticed that Foster follows Joe Rogan and Donte Stallworth on Twitter, and they have both come out in support of RP.

Supposedly it was an old game from last week being replayed. They took the audio footage from last week (that you usually can't hear) and played it during the repeat of the game.

Thanks. That is really funny that he was talking about Ron Paul on the field with the refs. Would love to see video of this but doubt it will ever surface. Not many people even have that channel on their cable service.

Good stuff with Foster. Best running back in the game right now. Now if he could only tweet something about saturday's moneybomb to his followers...

And as much as I think Tebow is over hyped (thanks Skip Bayless), I have to admit that an endorsement by him would be pretty big with the Evangelical crowd. Alas, it'll have to be in the offseason, which for him will start Saturday around midnight after my Patriots wipe the field with him ;)

I don't really understand his connection between being on the cover of Madden and voting for Ron Paul, but I'm guessing he is a supporter, unless he just likes to crack jokes all the time about voting for Ron Paul. I think we need a confirmation tweet from Arian to clear this up and generate some attention.

Arian Foster is definitely one of the top running backs in the NFL, if not the best. This Sports Illustrated article ranks him as #1, at least in terms of fantasy football rankings (ability to rack up good stats):

he was interviewed my a lady reporter and she was saying how he was weird...you could tell he was a little annoyed, but said something like, I dunno, I think I'm different, some may call it weird..
he just seems reserved to me...same with Andre Johnson... some call RP weird... I like it when people do their own thing... I don't have twitter/facebook, but would be cook if someone could contact him and see if he would wear an RP hat or shirt...I bet he would..

The refs wear microphones on their collars so when they make a call, they can say what the call/penalty was as well as use hand signals.

He must have forgot to turn his mic off when he wasn't using it.

He told the AP, that several GOP hopefuls have asked for his endorsement. Apparently he's pretty damn important. He's captured the nations attention, been parodied on SNL, mentioned in the debates, defended by the Christian Right, made pro life commercials.

Tim Tebow has been eliminated. Good. Also no, his endorsement wouldn't matter. They are asking for his endorsement to get desperate attention. It would make no difference. If Lynn Swann, one of the most beloved Steelers players EVER, loses by 20 points in a statewide race....it really shows you how much sports matters to people in the end. NONE.

He's a member of the "Green Party" so he supports Ron Paul - and because of his support for Ron Paul he can't be on the Madden cover. The innuendo there is that he supports Ron Paul because he wants to legalize marijuana..and hey there's nothing wrong with that.
