From what I've observed, it seems that Ron is in the best physical shape of anyone running. (perhaps even Obama) The guy bikes, swims, and jogs at ~70 years old! I know people half his age and less who can't do that. This might be something worth playing up when selling RP to people. I've come across a lot of age-ist people who don't know this about Ron. (this may be more appropriate in the grassroots subforum, but I wasn't sure-so I bet on the side of caution. mods, feel free to move it elsewhere) Hope this is of value to you. /end ramble

...except for tri-athlete Gary Johnson.

But yeah, Big Fat Gnewt has got to stop eating Fig Gnewtons by the case.

He's more fit than me. I'm not in bad shape, but I find myself hating these old men who make me look lazy by comparison. Except Ron Paul :D

Yeah, srsly! :D I can lift a lot, but I don't think I'm nearly good enough at aerobics to keep up with RP.

Ron Paul was talking in one of the campaigns about how he didn't get to ride his bike as often as he's like to when he is campaigning. He said it might sounds silly, but it was important to him.

I want to bet $20 that he'll outrun Obama in a hot TX summer marathon.

 WTF? Tell that to Lance Armstrong, he'll kick yer ass! (I'm pretty sure he would, not sure about his shape nowadays...but typical cyclers would kick yer ass!)

~ 70?

Dude the guy is 76, not ~ 70.

He is on the thin side and could probably benefit from some weight workouts, but his cardiovascular health is probably top notch.

No. Why do you say that? Do you sit on your couch a lot?

Actually we don't comments like that on the forum. There is no need to offend any group like that when we need all the votes we can get to win. You just offended gay people and cyclist, two significant voting groups.

obama is a smoker, i think its a safe bet that paul has better aerobic conditioning.

Ron Paul has a very high Constitution so it should come as no surprise that he is fit.

by way of introduction at all debates,we need candidates to declare their resting BMI,heart rates, lung capacity,vo2 max and other vital statistics. newt would drop out first.followed by frothy who looks like a softie
