For any of you sending out mailers, you may want to consider this. At the risk of exposing my inner nerd, I am a stamp collector and once did some testing on mailings with a normal stamp, and those with old commemorative postage. My response rate was 4 times higher with the older stamps. I am using the ones below on my letters I am sending to Iowans.

There are tons of options and you can buy older postage cheaply from dealers or on eBay. I have gotten responses from people in the past merely to thank me for the stamps even though they were not interested in the contents. I am hoping for some call or emails from my Iowa letters to help me spread the word.

Can't you order stamps now with just about any picture you want on them? Woudln't it be cool to send out all your Christmas cards with "Ron Paul" stamps on them?

How about "LiberTEA 12/16" stamps?

Custom postage from Zazzle.com or Stamps.com is nice. There are limitations/content restrictions and you cannot mention Ron Paul's name or use his likeness.

Even in the largest order I could make, RP stamps would cost 50% more than a regular stamp. Even further, small orders are twice as expense as a regular stamp.

That is a VERY, VERY impressive fact. And I had no idea that old postage is sold on eBay. Thank you for telling us about it. You picked great stamps for your Iowa mailings.
