Doug Wead was right. I guess it wasn't all spin.

Jon Huntsman is at 4% and has a 28/41 favorability in South Carolina. Hard to see the point in continuing

Ha! I can't wait to watch Huntsman drop out. He is the candidate I dislike the most.

He's the candidate I dislike most at the moment although by tomorrow it might be someone different.

The best part is that they're saying Gary Johnson polls well enough to spoil the race for Romney in SC, so the GOP needs to get serious about the only candidate that will get Gary Johnson's votes.

Huntsman was my 2nd favorite candidate before his evil NH tactics. This makes me like him a bit more again.

Huntsman helped Ron in South Carolina, or in New Hampshire?

Dear Huntsman.
Go away, we don't want another war--unless you're on the front lines.

In New Hampshire. He split the McCain RINO vote with Romney in NH. Otherwise, Romney would have probably cracked 50%.

Yep, I've been saying RP needs to mention this when asked the "3rd party" question.

Tell them the republican party already ignored and forced another conservative to seek 3rd party, and that Ron is the only candidate who could keep those voters in the party.

I thought he was an alright guy too until all that BS in NH. It's sickening.

People value their freedoms in this region. I lived in Randolph for a spell, great folk there in the north country, I miss it there at the base of the northern presidentials.

CNN on Huntsman - he is running in the wrong party !

Scanning the exit polls produces very few highlights for Huntsman, who needed to show a surge at the end to justify his continued presence in the race. He didn't even beat Romney among independents, coming in third at 23% to Paul's 32% and Romney's 29%. Huntsman did win 41% of the 4% of voters who are Democrats, and a majority of those who "strongly oppose" the tea party. With that profile, Huntsman might do better running in the Democratic primary against Barack Obama, but it's not the profile of a competitive Republican candidate.

Governor Huntsman ran a good campaign in New Hampshire, however, he should drop out and endorse the good doctor because they both know that fighting wars in the Middle East is not America's future.

I prefer to think that we just plain out-muscled them.

I think Huntsman experienced blowback. All his voters that got wind of the deceitful garbage tactics ran elsewhere, many of them to Paul.

It's not all about opinion. There are some logistics to take into account here. Our organization was much stronger, did a much better job at turning out the vote of our supporters. Opinion matters only to those select few who were undecided in the last 2 days or so. What was that, like 17%, right?
