Ashland, N.H., a town that has gone the way of the state in all but two Republican primaries since 1952, narrowly bucked tradition last night.

The voters backed Ron Paul over Mitt Romney by three votes, with the final tally showing 137 for Paul and 134 for Romney. In a distant third place, with 62 votes, was Jon Huntsman, followed by Newt Gingrich (49 votes) and Rick Santorum (35 votes). Rick Perry pulled in zero votes.
