Hi!

Someone has mentioned about ordering signs for the 15th of December's money bomb, and that reminded me of the time I've saved my church money:

They wanted X amount of flyers for their BBQ. We went to Office Depot and they have a price list by volume. Then I noticed that their number of flyers are not really cost effective. So we ended up printing up 200 more flyers and they spent less than they would with their proposed number.

So...I figure that we have a good amount of smart blokes around here. And we are pressed for time. So... here is a nifty cheat sheet on how many yard signs you can order from HQ by pricing tier before things get quite costly:

24 signs @ 5 = $120 (if ordering 20 signs, it's more cheaper to order 25 at 4 per sign.)

49 signs @ 4 = $196 (When ordering at least 38, go for 50 at 3 per sign)

50 signs @ 3 = $150 (When ordering at least 83, go for 100 at 2.50 per sign)

Basically, this is FWIW. Any algorithms for other items can be placed here. Cheers!

BTW, you take the minimum total cost of the higher volume and divide it by the individual cost of the lower bracket. That number is when you should consider ordering in a higher volume.

Now...I must go back to sleep.

FWIW, our signs are 50% larger (18x24 instead of 12x24) for better visibility at a distance, come with the 10" wide wire stands instead of the 6" wire stands, and cost less in comparable bulk quantities.

There are also in stock with next day shipping after receipt of funds.

Thanx for the heads up, GrassrootsHQ!

That, and I've heard that you process and ship 'em out faster!

If you need signs to put out then just tell the campaign you need signs.

If you can contact your local meet up groups and/or states campaign HQ they have a lot for FREE. And then donate the money you were going to spend on signs from the store. It is more cost effective for the campaign if you do it this way.
