Politicians like Ron Paul are a rare breed. I really feel like this movement is gaining momentum, but time is against us. Ron Paul is turning 77 years old this year. Ron is in great shape and I hope to God he stays in great health, but like the topic says...if Romney is the nominee and losses to Obama, will Ron Paul run again as an 80 year old in 2016?

No, it will be Rand's turn in 2016 - after Ron Paul leaves office ;)

No, the whole process is too grueling for someone who would then be 80. He can be an elder statesman of the liberty movement. Hopefully he can offer endorsements and sage advice for another 25 years or more.

If Obama gets a second term (in other words, if Ron is not the nominee) I expect to see Rand CRUSHING everyone in 2016. If there are elections still.

No, but I would like him to run for Senate if it came to that

Will the Colts sign Andrew Luck to a second long term contract in 2017-2018?

Cross that bridge later.

I'd be fine with it if he wanted to.

Judge Stevens was still working on the SC in his mid nineties.

It will probably be Rand's time though, but if Ron wanted to run...

god for it.
