Drill this home..

If Romney wins, most Ron Paul supporters won't vote for him.

If Romney wins, he won't get all those independent votes and many moderate/liberal civil libertarian votes that Ron Paul gets. Ron Paul beats Obama with independents like no other GOP candidate.

If Romney wins. Gary Johnson runs third party libertarians, and takes 10% of the vote right of the bat. If Ron Paul wins, Gary Johnson won't run, and gives Ron Paul the libertarian vote as well as any of his votes because Gary Johnson has endorsed Ron Paul.

"So what do you want? Pick Romney and lose 10% of vote we could get because of Gary Johnson running, also LOSE the independent advantange Ron Paul has, and also LOSE the anti-war vote, and also LOSE the civil liberties democrat vote, and also LOSE the Youth vote? Do you really just want to lose to Obama? Romney isn't even a conservative and all things point to Ron Paul as a stronger candidate because of all these reasons if you just pulled behind him".

Well, this has good points and bad points. Much of it is designed to piss your average 'team player' Republican off.

That said, it is all true. Every bit of it.

Some of it can be cushioned a bit. For example, 'If Romney wins, most Ron Paul supporters won't vote for him because the bastard isn't even a conservative!' would actually be helpful with most Republicans around these parts.

And yes--psychological warfare. I do know some Republicans that literally cannot hear you until you piss them off.

The race comes down to this: If evangelicals decide they want someone who shares their values as a matter of personal faith, and support Ron over Romney in South Carolina, it can be won.

A vote for Gingrich, for Santorum, for Perry, or for Huntsman is a waste. They'll get their votes, but people who don't want Romney as the guy have 11 days to decide if they'd rather have Ron. It's their only choice.

I hope they choose wisely.
