Just for kicks. Who'd play a good Dr. Paul?

BuddyRey

My top picks: Edward Norton, or Woody Harrelson (though he'd have to slim down quite a bit!)

Those guys are way too young though. I guess I'm talking Paul modern day.

I was thinking his biopic probably wouldn't be made for another two or three decades yet, but maybe there's someone old enough to fill the role if history just can't wait. :D

Oohh, I just thought of another one! Lee Tergesen!

the guy who plays the boss (who had a couple heart attacks) on Mad Men, John Slattery.

Another one, though once again would have to wait several decades or be aged artificially with makeup; Neil Patrick Harris.

James Earl Jones.

Sorry, I just want to hear Ron Paul's intelligent speeches given voice by JEJ :D Just about everything is better when voiced by JEJ, except possibly Mickey Mouse.

Or... Colin Mochrie

My above comment was a sad attempt at humor/irony, but I just couldn't help myself.

I'd also like to apologize to everyone for being such a thread-killer. It seems that a reply comment from me is a kiss of death for many thoughful threads. I'll try to use this power wisely...

Maybe there should be a separate forum for 30-something folks? I'd be curious to know how many of us there are on this forum...

He doesn't have to look anything like Ron Paul to play him, for example, look at Anthony Hopkins playing Nixon. But Ian McKellan certainly looks like Ron and he's a great enough actor to pull it off I'm sure.

And Rand Paul as Ron in the early years of course.

I thought Fred Thompson was funny!

Believe me, there's plenty-a-thread that I've not just killed, but mutilated.

Plenty o' people over 30, there's all kinds of "how old are you" polls if ya give it a little search.

I can already visualize the debate scenes. With Ray Liotta as Rudy Giuliani.

Please tell me this isn't true!!!:eek::eek:

It was bad enough that they gave the part of Dagny Taggart to Angelina Jolie.

What next? Shia LeBouf as Henry Rearden?!?!

I'd like to, but that's the last word I heard. < GAG!>

For Rearden, how about George Clooney, it's be a real stretch for him though. :D
