I know many people in michigan are very very moderate, but that whole detroit area is super liberal. Just kind of worries me.

Yeah, but most of the people in Detroit don't vote anyway. We have a republican Governor...

I never figured out why so many loved old George so much in Michigan when he built his silly little cars in Kenosha, Wisconsin...

Yeah, I hear that alot as well, just goes to show how much thought people put into voting, "he was born here", "I liked his dad", I'm always saying - seriously? I'm working on it in my area tho, got most of my family/friends convinced on Ron, but it will be tough to overcome Romney's superficial persona.

Actually, we have the highest concentration of muslims outside the middle east in southeast michigan, and they LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE his stance on Israel.

Justin Amash got elected in Michigan. Why can't we?
Doesn't Michigan have the highest military deployment or something like that?

Make sure the young supporters are registered to vote. The deadline to register is January 30.

he wasn't running against mitt Romney
I expect Ron to do pretty well here. Certainly better than the Grinch or Frothy. It is an open primary and is NOT a winner take all primary (new RNC rules put in place last year stipulate that primaries before April 1st cannot use winner-take-all). There is a strong independent undercurrent, combine this with the fact that people here are hurting financially and are tired of all the wars, I feel it makes for fertile ground to grow our message. It would be a mistake to bypass Michigan. There are a lot of closet Ron Paul supporters.

Justin resides in one of the most conservative districts in Michigan. A lot of Dutch Christians. It doesn't represent Michigan as a whole. Just saying.

I would imagine Texas to be higher.

Can't stress that enough, talk is cheap
