Try this link: http://prokc.info/cgiproxy/nph-proxy...eaparty07.com/

If it loads for you here but not in the main link, it is confirmed that Comcast has blocked the site from your IP address.

that worked for me but how did they block it? And did someone complain to comcast to have it blocked or was the it the sever of teaparty that did something wrong to have it blocked? N.Calf.

18 popups?

18? You should only be getting 1 or 2 (the latter only half the time).

It appears to be that way.

Wow I have comcast and the proxy works. They really are blocking this site?! Can they be sued?

Yep, I can see the site using proxy servers but not from my own IP at comcast (Memphis, TN).

Could it be that the IP address of teaparty07.com's shared server is blocked by comcast long ago because of a bad apple on that server?

We need to get to the bottom of this.

Confirmed. I go to proxy.org and use one of the proxy servers and can get through.

Any techies have any logical explanations for this behavior? Seems strange that the .com website would be blocked but not the .org and .net ones. Especially since the website really hasn't even been up for more than a week.

Edit: BTW, I really wouldn't actually interact with any site that is coming through a proxy if I were you guys(don't give any info through it) ;)

They aren't censoring anything! Comcast most likely has not updated their DNS servers yet, but the proxy has.

When you access the site through the proxy you are using the proxy server's DNS settings, not your own. That is why you can access it through the proxy but not through your normal connection.

Just wait for 24 - 48 for the DNS to propagate through all the ISPs

Yes, settle down people, comcast is not censoring anything.

Change your DNS to http://www.opendns.com/ anyway
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

Loads fine for me - was funny, tried yesterday and it didn't load, yet opendns's search page showed it as the first result with a screen-shot and everything, but wouldn't load, lol

comcast is NOT blocking anything just to confirm, it is simply some sloppy DNS work on some DNS servers at the teaparty host. Probably done through a mega delayed control panel.

I have Comcast. First let me say that the speed is really nice (of the connection). Now let me add that other than that, they tend to suck about alot of things, just give them the weekend and it should be up and running by Monday. I don't forsee them having actually blocked the site before it was even up. It worked fine before the server switch.

I'm not a wiz at this stuff but since several other websites have gone on line since teaparty07.com and they worked thru comcast with in hours I would have to suspect the server and if they are this bad now how will they ever handle the future load?IMO

Comcast is loading the site for me from the regular address as of this morning
