View Full Version : How much will Dixville Notch affect the New Hampshire Primary?

While reading about New Hampshire, I've started to realize what a circus our election process is.

I have been reading about a town called Dixville notch which (apparently) will be voting in four hours just so that they can be the first in the state to vote. Apparently there are only nine people who will be voting in this "first" primary vote which happens at midnight.

I can only imagine what sorts of media coverage this will get....I'm wondering if it will have any effect on the rest of the state? I certainly hope that it doesn't, but I'm guessing that it will be quite the "event", especially if the desired MSM candidate wins.

Does anyone have any recollection of how this worked in past elections? I vaguely remember something about it, but not much.

I firmly believe that everyone in the entire U.S. should vote (all at once) with no media coverage whatsoever. This will never happen in my lifetime I'm sure.

If this small community does dictate the vote, I hope that Dr. Paul wins.

At least the Circus would become our Circus.

This helped the media narrative. Look at the front of CNN and you'll know what I mean. Infuriating.

Only CNN would say Huntsman is leading Paul when 19 votes are cast.

Hilarious that he isn't. Only in Dixville Notch. With the total vote, we are clearly second.

Search for Ron Paul on google right now. They have mock results up. We're in third behing santo and grinch with like 20,000 votes. Romney far down, so it clearly is a mock one.
