We WANT the field to be deluded for as long as possible. Otherwise the establishment will consolidate all of the non Ron Paul support and leave him in the dust. He finished in the lower twenties in Iowa. He's on the verge of dipping into the teens in NH. And he's barely out of the single digits nationally.

Right now he is being perceived as a front runner, because it is him and Romney above the rest. If Romney is gone, the GOP will focus all of their support behind someone else.

I think we all know that Romney is not the most desired candidate for the GOP. He's a flip-flopping mormon. I mean no offense by the mormon thing, but it turns some people off. He was considered a front runner in 2008 as well and vanished as soon as the establishment threw their weight behind McCain.

well we are pretty much even in delegates right now and maybe ahead by june since that is when they actually pick the delegates in iowa. We are placing 2nd or better in NH and sc we can still rise and florida place 3rd ,but remember florida lost half its delegates. so this romney sweep you speak of doesn't really exist even if he places 3rd but if we place 2nd or closer. ron paul placing 2nd =win in nh considering the evil media;)

Concur. Slow and steady while scooping up delegates, winnowing the field, gaining Media attention and credibility with the masses. Go for the jugular when it's Mitt vs. Ron. I actually like the strategy. Dr. Paul will be the last anti-Romney standing. :)

Romney is respecting the good doctor, I believe that Romney respects him as a man and knows that he'll need to have Ron in his corner IF he gets the nod.
