I think he should start every appearance with something like:

"I want to first thank my supporters. We cannot do this without you.

I also want to thank those of you who are undecided. I feel privileged that youve given me this opportunity in light of all the misrepresentations regarding my positions".

In closing, how about something like:

“If youre sick and tired of the 2-headed 1-party system,

if youre tired of flip flopping politicians who say anything to get elected,

if youre sick of things never changing,

if youre sick of the debt,

if you feel like our civil liberties are under attack or are tired of being groped at the airport or are frightened by freedom stripping legislation like the NDAA,

if you feel like you have no voice and that Washington D.C. doesn’t care about what you think or how you feel,

if you want to send a message to the status-quo and the establishment,

then please support me.

Thank you”.

Or some variation thereof.

Could have used it during the town hall.
