There are six candidates. There must be another podium next to Ron's for Huntsman.

Edit: New picture in OP confirms.

It is based on the latest National polls, it looks like.

What national poll has had Santorum in second? RCP average? Nope. Gallup? Nope.

Oh, but this is a New Hampshire debate by WMUR, you say. What does the latest WMUR New Hampshire poll show? Ron Paul in second with 22%. Santorum in 3rd/4th with 8%.

This arrangement is bullshit, plain and simple. Ron Paul should be front and center, no question about it. We got screwed on this one, and I'm pissed.

I don't mind Santorum being in the middle, he almost won Iowa, we would be flipping out if Paul won Iowa and we weren't in the middle. He also is probably the most aggravating speaker on stage, people won't be impressed the more they see of him.

The best thing I can see from this is Santorum and Romney going after each other the way Perry went after Romney when he came in.

You should rig up someones mic wire so it falls out when they are up there. ;)

Santorum's face makes me angry. (And that's before he even opens his mouth to speak.) Hopefully his presence front and center has the same effect on others.

The sad fact is that these young men standing up there would all be better than all of the candidates except for Ron Paul of course.

Ron's competitors are real jokes.

Agreed. Highlight Frothy's aggravating quotient.

Yes, that's the bright side of this, that Santorum will be front and center and getting the most attention he's ever gotten. Prime opportunity to stumble and kill his campaign. :D

So they use ONE national poll from ONE polling company to justify their order? Pathetic. They are obviously looking for an excuse to buy into the Romney vs. Santorum MSM narrative. How about using the New Hampshire polls for the New Hampshire debates for once.

The Rasmussen poll is the most recent poll (by start date). Lighten up a little.

NBC is using the New Hampshire polls for the Sunday morning debate.

So Ron Paul will be in the middle on Sunday morning? Source?

The reason why I'm upset about the order is because watch tonight for the camera angles. They will frame Ron Paul out of the shot as often as possible, either focusing on Romney/Santorum or Romney/Santorum/Gingrich or Santorum/Gingrich. These are the shots that get played in the highlights and on the news tomorrow. We need as much face time as possible.

Ron is in the center, next to Romney. As it should be. It is hard to get a true center with 6 people...
