don't you track your own expenses?

The campaign will return any overage.

I guess you could look at old credit card statements if you want to save them the hassle.

I think it will be more than double, but heck if we even match it, it will be huge.

Your email inbox? Your bank statements?

Otherwise just take a guess and subtract $100 and run with that. If you over-donate, the campaign will refund the extra, but it's a good idea to try and not generate extra work for them.

It's obvious the Tea Party is going to be huge!

First of all, the 4.2 million collected on the 5th has demonstrated the FACT that Ron Paul has a GROWING campaign of VERY dedicated supporters. They donated on the 5th and will donate again! They are not about to abandon Ron Paul!

Secondly, only 2% of those who have donated are maxed out. This means 98% of people who donated can do so again! Also, on the 5th over 20,000 donations were from FIRST TIME CONTRIBUTORS!

Third, the excitement level is going to be SKY HIGH by the Tea Party! By then we will have even more supporters!

We can make the Tea Party HUGE! To be blunt, I expect us to raise at least 10 MILLION DOLLARS!

Well, I think the TEA PARTY is going to be huge. I'm excited.

I'm hoping that everyone who donated last time will make a special effort to donate even more this time around!

Wait until the various anti-tax organizations get wind of the Tea Party. There could be an astounding number of new donors.

Nothing illegal about giving your friend some money because he spent too much donating to Ron Paul.

That would be nice if he pulled in 8 Million. The media would be forced to consider him top tier.

There is no reason we cannot collect a full 10 million dollars!

Do you realize that only 2% of individuals have maxed out and we had 20,000 first time donators on the 5th?

Actually, it probably is. It would only be legal if the funds were given to your friend entirely independent of their support for or against a specific candidate. Probably a difficult thing to prove, but it's gray area that also probably shouldn't be breached.

Either way, don't suggest it on these boards. As we saw on CNN yesterday, their reporters regularly visit these forums - you don't want to give these people an excuse to publish another "Ron Paul supporters encourage cheating" story.

I'm for sure going to donate this time. I didn't last time (poor college student, i know, i suck) but after seeing the impact this last money bomb had I'm for sure going to donate this time.

btw. Some guy i talked to tonight said "If Hillary gets the nomination I'm going to vote for Ron Paul" and i told him that he needs to support him before the nominations get made if he wants to make a difference.

I think we can get 40,000 to pledge and raise a good $8M on one day. The attention surrounding this is going to be huge.

We need to contact the MSM a few days to a week before the date to make sure that they cover it beforehand, then cover it again when the numbers come out.

do what u can and if money's a prob u can do other things, spread the word, if u have access to a printer print up some fliers leave em in high traffic areas, hell one simple thing i did for free which has really surprised me at how much it has paid off is i use 'ron paul' as my name on our weekly football pool. we have now about 70 people in it, everybody wanted to know who ron paul was at the beginning of the season and from so many people asking i now have a slew of converts asking for bumper stickers, signs, daily info reports on the campaign, lol, have even gotten 2 of them to donate. they all call me ron paul now but i figure i could be called a lot worse, i don't care what they call me as long as they're on board!

Great video! I'm still annoyed that the CNN analyst screwed up the math though. She claimed $3,000-something "per second", when she meant "per minute." I WISH Paul had gotten $3,000 per second on the 5th!!!

QFT.

How ironic that the people here are invoking the memory of the Boston Tea Party to support the Champion of the Constitution but they cower and quake in fear of unconstitutional FEC campaign laws that they have not read and do not understand.

DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET RON PAUL ELECTED. KEEP THE OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN OUT OF TROUBLE, BUT DO WHATEVER IT TAKES!

I just realized Dec 16th is on a Sunday. I still think its going to be huge bigger than the 5th but I think Sunday is the worst day of the week to do a money bomb.

Shaun
11-10-2007, 09:27 PM
TRAVIS:
Sunday the 16th is the best day, all the dedicated will be off work and the whole world will be watching, everyone will start donating AND calling all their friends and co workers ( who they can easily get on a Sunday because of no meetings or obligations etc) believe me about 80,000 people will MAKE the time to donate on that Sunday. Don't sweat it, the 10M is a done deal. Start the promo now, that's fine, two weeks out it will be all over the world.
With 10m on that day, do you realise that our champion will most likely raise 27 to 30 million for the quarter? That's right NUMBER ONE ON EITHER SIDE.
He then has a chance to strom through the primaries. US loves an underdog who then becomes the peoples champion..
That's Ron baby..

We need to get people to the Tea Party website... Last I checked they had a disappointing flow of traffic thus far unlike the 5th website. I am sure these are ideas that people have already gone over but A. Having Trevor send out an email to everyone that signed up via his website directing them to the Tea Party site. B. Making sure all the Meetups have it listed as an event. C. Another MYSPACE drive!
