Flip Flop Romney is pushing a December 7th Pearl Harbor Money Bomb (jealous insecure creep!)

I think we should have a mini beat Mitt bomb on 12/7 WITHOUT taking it away from 12/16...

How cool would it be if we totally thwart Mitt's attempt at free publicty on Pearl harbor day by actually outraising him....

and then DESTROYING EVERYBODY one week later

uhh after 1 day he has 35 people pledging $30 each.

Show the pathetic attempt after the fact, getting into a pissing contest, even if we would win, would only motivate his Utah support to rise up in "Holy Wroth" and would probably bring Mitt ten times more money than he would get if we just ignore it.

I don't see how it wouldn't take away from our success on December 16.

It's just my opinion, but I think we should stay focused on our own fundraiser and let him do what he's going to do. If we do our jobs right, we will blow him out of the water on the 16th.

I second that... eyes on the ball... by competing they get more publicity and motivation... RPs campaign already won, let the others challenge the winner.. not the other way...

We need to ignore Mitt Romney and the other neo-cons. We need to focus on making the Tea Party Money Bomb the most successful fund raising effort in the history of this nation! I think we need to strive to at least DOUBLE what was raised on Nov. 5th!

What is the big deal about this? The normal donation curve will defeat that effort LOL.

However, a call for liberty and freedom will help Ron Paul raise MILLIONS of dollars at the Tea Party!

Looking at his online support for the 7th it would take about 4 of us donate $100.00 to match it at this point. He won't come close to the $100,000 - $200,000 that get's donated to RP everyday.

And on another note who was the bright person that thought the day Pearl Harbor was bombed would be a good day for a donation? Guy Fawks was stopped, Pearl Harbor really got bombed. I'm sure there are some WWII veterans out there that would find that offensive. I know I do.

Almost as bad if Rudy G. had a fund raiser promotion for 911. Oh yea, he did...

They really don't have a clue!!!

The point of a money bomb, or surge, is to focus on one day within, say, a month. If we did one on 12/7 just to spite Romney, it would weaken the one on 12/16.

Better to let Romney try to beat us and answer back on our day over a week later. Isn't that what free market competition is about anyway? ;)

By the time Romney does his, Huckabee and Thompson will have done theirs.

Methinks ignoring for now is best, and seeing how the Huckster does. Best bet is that the Huckster and Thompson have poor showings and the whole thing implodes on its own.

These are the Establishment candidates we are talking about here, remember? They will hang themselves.

any poor soul barely eking out an existence who feels the pressing need to send real money

by any kind of logic, reason, or anything else any sane person could come up with.

The number of hits isn't as important as the number of pledges. The sites themselves are like a novelty or a car crash. Everyone is going to rubberneck but that doesn't mean anyone is going to help.

The main thing is that their bombs be epic fail. The Huckster and Thompson have less than two weeks. I'm sure people can keep cool, most people probably won't even know the other bombs exists regardless, unless they get MSM ink about them beforehand. Even so, the others are still going to look like johnny-come-lately, and their donations have been steadily decreasing each quarter with Paul's increasing. I wonder how many Romney True Believers are tapped out?

Thanks for banning Ron Paul supporters RedState, Hannity, and the rest! Too bad more sites didn't flex their Private Property rights. Nobody to get the regulars fired up and donating.

$44 for the 44th President? That's a stupid fundraiser! LOL. I wonder how much he had to pay out of his own pocket for someone to think up that idea for him? :D
The guy's burnthrough rate is amazing. He has lots of big-money contacts, but I don't see his drive getting lots of donors, but they could raise some cash from large donations. It will be interesting to see his average donation from that drive.

Though I don't think an organized money bomb on the 7th is a good idea, I think it'd be nice if we just happened to keep watch on Romney's donations (assuming, of course, it's tracked in real time like with Paul) and maybe, possibly, sorta raise more money than him that day. By random chance.

If you know what I mean.

Lets not forget that the 7th is the anniversary of Pearl Harbor... lets not do any "bombs" on that day as it will be horribly un-pc. Our normal donation curve will be more than enough for the day to defeat his group of donations.

Edit Edit Edit:
Honestly Ron Paul's supporters only needed their big push on Nov. 5 because the actual campaign wasn't really doing much. It couldn't, so surrogates did it for him.

They just don't get us...
