Isn't the graph site directly affiliated with the Ron Paul campaign? If that is the case, the campaign is directly participating in the 16th of December event...

where did you get that idea? It's tracking all kinds of things that are independant of the official campaign.

I don't think it's directly affiliated.

Well, I'm not "graph savvy", so can you explain to me how it keeps track of live donations if it's not a part of the campaign?

Of course this website and it's author have nothing to do with the Ron Paul campaign, we (me and the website) are just fans. No one is getting paid here, this is all on my server and done in my "free time".

Ah, I see. That explains why the graph site was lagging, yet the Ron Paul site wasn't on the 5th of November.

A live feed? Never heard of that before, but it sounds pretty nifty. The FF logo in the URL is what mainly confused me, though, because it's the same as the Ron Paul site's logo.

There is a webservice link within the official website that spits out the 5 most recent donors, the total number of donations, etc... From this small set of data, RonPaulGraphs is born. There is also http://paulcash.slact.net

Me too. The campaign workers are looking really good right now because of the grass roots.

Judging from the banner ads and Google adwords on the site you can't really say that "No one is getting paid here". I wouldn't mind if you were. The graphs are valuable and its a great service, thanks.

The site gets a lot of hits and a lot of refreshes... I'm willing to bet all that ad money goes to hosting costs.

That site is awesome and is a model of how transparently Paul would run his branch of government. It was a genius idea to create the web service and allow anyone to consume it and report on it.

As much as many people have complained about the actual campaign, they have been all over the technology aspect. Everything from the iPhone module to the $$$ thermometers have been fantastically architected and executed. Kudos to the central campaign's technology department...you guys rock.

Well I don't know. Did anybody look at the pdf handout (http://www.ronpaul2008.com/files/11-6-2007-PressConferenceFlier.pdf) they provided on the blog entry for the press conference? I was pretty disappointed in the chart and in the text arguments they typed up. The information on it could have been presented in more self-explanatory terms, and in a less confrontational manner.

not to mention copied to death by other candidates.
